Who doesn't like chocolate cake? Well, ok. Besides my nephew Jack, I think everyone else in the world loves chocolate cake. This is an old family favorite and easy to whip right up.
It's chocolatey and soft and so incredibly good with cream cheese frosting. It doesn't even call for eggs! That's pretty wacky!
You will need:
3 cups of flour
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of cocoa
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of baking soda
2 tablespoons of vanilla
2 tablespoons of vinegar
12 tablespoons of oil (around 3/4 cup)
2 cups of cold water
Preheat oven 350F
Mix up dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
In separate bowl mix up wet ingredients.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour batter into greased 9x13 and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool and top with Good Cream Cheese Frosting.
